Philodendron Melanochrysum

Philodendron Melanochrysum plants, also commonly known as black-gold philodendron, are a rare type of vining philodendron. Their velvet leaves come in shades of dark green and will climb up a large moss pole like it is nothing.

Light

She prefers bright indirect light, Sunny locations should be avoided at all costs prolonged exposure to the sun or dry soil will result in pale leaves. 

Soil

Stick to mixtures that are well-draining but moist, and high in organic content. Many growers choose to grow their Philodendron Melanochrysums in pure sphagnum moss as it is organic, airy, and retains water well

Water

She loves moist soil. Allow the top of the soil to dry out before watering again. Once the pot begins to feel light when lifted, it's time for another water. Water your plant thoroughly until water drains from the pot’s drainage holes.
